ACC Organizes Seminar on Influenza A (H1N1)
In its effort to disseminate information on the new virus called Influenza A (H1N1), the Aklan Catholic College (ACC) organized a symposium in cooperation with the Health Office of the Province of Aklan. The aforesaid was held on June 26, 2009 for the high school students and on June 29, 2009 for the college students. The faculty of both the Basic Education and Higher Education departments attended the affair.
The speaker was Dr. Victor A. Santamaria, Aklan?s Health Officer. His topic focuses on the nature, prevention measures, and updates on H1N1. An open forum followed the health officer?s presentation. Rommel J. Constantino, Cultural Coordinator, was the forum?s host and moderator.
