The Center for Research and Accreditation (CRA) envisions to provide a sustainable professional environment embedded with humanistic Christian values that would enhance the research culture of the college and make accreditation viable.

The Center for Research and Accreditation is committed to undertake and manage researches of the faculty, student and staff based on the agenda of the college. It shall make available resources and expertise for producing, processing and disseminating information needed for the accreditation activities of the college. It shall serve as a venue and depository of relevant data and information and make it accessible to the potential users.

The Center for Research and Accreditation is one of the service units of Aklan Catholic College under the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs which was established on August 2002. It serves as a venue for research activities in response to the challenge of institutionalizing research function of the college being a higher education institution and at the same time the depository of research-based data and information which can be shared or exchanged through institutional linkages and networking. The Center plays a vital role in the accreditation and evaluation activities of the college being the venue for strategic planning, monitoring, processing, depositing and disseminating relevant data and information about the college. It closely coordinates with the academic departments, offices and units in generating and sharing information for technical and development purposes.

The Center for Research and Accreditation was established about 4 years ago to serve as venue for enhancing the research culture of the college and at the same time producer and depository of relevant documents for the college? accreditation activities. To date, the Center has acquired and deposited professional Journals, Publications, UNESCO Reports, Books and Reference Materials, Theses and Dissertations, Compilations, and others majority of which have been donated from the Director?s collection. Graduate and undergraduate students, faculty and other professionals from other institutions are availing of the resources and expertise of the Center. We hope that the center will continue to serve the academic community and enrich/expand its capacity to accommodate more clients. The college is committed to further its level of accreditation; along side with it is also the commitment of the Center to make sure that this undertaking is realized. To all alumni, students, faculty and stakeholders, please help us build our resources. This is our center, the source of new knowledge and development perspectives.
